We are seeking a highly skilled Forklift Service Engineer to join our After Sales department at Toyota Material Handling UK. This role involves maintaining, repairing, and servicing our range of products, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.
- Service and maintain forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to the highest standards.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and provide local after-sales support to customers.
- Deal effectively with customer enquiries, problems, or complaints, providing solutions and resolving issues efficiently.
- Manage vehicle stock and deliveries, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment of customer needs.
- Achieve agreed targets and contribute to the growth and success of our business.
The successful candidate will have experience working as a forklift engineer, plant fitter, or industrial equipment technician. Key skills and qualifications include:
- Strong mechanical engineering background and knowledge of electrical systems.
- Effective planning and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with customers.
- Full UK driving license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.
