Job OverviewWe are seeking a talented salesperson to join our Business Development team. As a Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for cultivating and managing a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities with companies across diverse industries.
This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that offers an exceptional sales opportunity with a global leader in sustainable waste management and innovation.
Responsibilities- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager to develop and execute outreach strategies for your designated markets.
- Identify target industries and companies, pinpoint prospects, and locate key decision-makers' contact information.
- Engage in daily prospecting activities, including cold calling, email outreach, LinkedIn networking, and utilizing contact databases.
- Craft personalized and creative communication to connect with prospects effectively.
- Schedule qualifying call appointments for the Business Development Managers.
- Prepare for qualifying calls by scheduling meetings, briefing the Business Development Manager, and creating deals within our CRM system.
- Maintain continuous follow-up with all prospects, ensuring information in our CRM is updated daily.
- Develop customized client-facing presentations for Business Development Managers.
- Support Senior Team Members by managing and advancing deals through the sales pipeline to contract finalization.
- Identify networking events, community gatherings, and industry hearings to generate leads within your target sectors.
- Manage inbound sales leads and requests effectively.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to compose clear and concise emails.
- 1-3 years of experience in sales, account management, marketing, or sustainability is preferred but not required.
- Thrive in a fast-paced sales environment and are comfortable meeting targets and managing high volumes of leads.
- Possess a strong work ethic, goal-oriented mindset, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Demonstrate effective time management and project management skills.
- A desire to learn and contribute to a team dedicated to continuous improvement and exceeding sales KPIs.
- A Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.
- Fluency in French is essential.
