Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Cover Teacher to join our team at a Primary school in the Cheltenham area. The successful candidate will be required to cover a Year 2 class on a full-time basis, starting immediately and continuing through to the end of the Summer term.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching, with a particular emphasis on KS1 experience. They will be confident in their ability to plan and prepare lessons, as well as manage behavior effectively and promote independence in the classroom.

The school has a strong focus on pupil well-being and personal development, and the successful candidate will be expected to support this ethos. They will also be required to work closely with the school's staff to ensure a smooth transition and to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and prepare lessons for a Year 2 class
