CNC Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Production Manager to join our team at BluetownOnline Ltd. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our CNC machine shop and ensuring that all production targets are met.
Main Responsibilities:- Effective management of the CNC machine shop and finishing department, including resource allocation and equipment maintenance.
- Scheduling of department activities to meet monthly delivery plans.
- Training and mentoring of junior team members, including apprentices.
- Quality focus to identify and address root causes of failures and implement corrective actions.
- Hands-on approach to project-based tasks and ongoing review of processes for optimization and operator training.
- Ensuring adherence to Best Practice across all outputs.
- Development and maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Process Work Instructions (PWIs).
- Effective communication channels to be used at all times within the department.
- Ensuring all documentation is up-to-date to meet Quality Accreditations and customer expectations.
- Completion of Risk Assessments and promotion of best practice Health & Safety.
- Time-served Engineer or at least 5 years of experience in an Engineering role.
- Excellent understanding of CNC Machine 3 axis / 5 axis.
- Management or supervisory experience.
- Ability to work to multiple priorities.
- Experience of working in an SME is desirable.
- Experience of working with medical instrumentation is desirable.
