CMM Mechanical Quality Inspector Job Description

We are seeking a skilled CMM Mechanical Quality Inspector to join our team at CNC Precision. As a key member of our inspection department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our precision machined components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Verify precision toleranced machined components to AS9100 standard
  • Use general calibrated measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers, and shadowgraph
  • Perform CMM inspection techniques, both manual and CNC, with experience in Aberlink machines and software
  • Accurately detail FAIR reports, including AS9102 Aerospace standard
  • Liaise with customer QE's and manage NCR/CAPA activity through to close out
  • Develop and amend processes/procedures as necessary to comply with industry standards

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar position, ideally in an Aerospace component manufacturing environment
  • Basic PC skills, including Microsoft Word and Excel
