Supplier Quality Engineer / Metrologist

Our client, a leading manufacturer in the engineering sector, is seeking a skilled Supplier Quality Engineer / Metrologist to join their team in Havant. This permanent role involves ensuring that supplied products meet design intent and testing requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting measurement confirmation and data statistical analysis on supplier products.
  • Performing first-off validation to mechanical/electrical drawings and test specifications.
  • Determining criteria for parts inspection and driving inspection requirements back to suppliers.
  • Managing programming of the OGP CMM machine and other measurement equipment.
Requirements:
  • Experience operating CMM's, including programming.
  • Experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and sampling plans.
  • Understanding of local legislation.
