Matchtech Technology is a prominent organization specializing in the production of electrical generators, primarily for gas turbine and steam turbine applications, recognized for its pioneering solutions and advanced technology.
In the position of Control Systems Security Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include evaluating security needs, performing risk evaluations, and collaborating with the engineering team to establish cyber security compliance for PRISMIC components and control systems.
You will also engage with project, systems engineering, and product management teams to identify standards requirements and ensure adherence.Key Responsibilities:
- Enhancing PRISMIC control software to meet cyber security standards for Windows & QNX platforms.
- Implementing secure network protocols such as SSL/TLS, SSH, SFTP, and secure industrial protocols for PRISMIC control systems.
- Conducting and maintaining ongoing threat analysis and risk assessment processes to proactively identify and mitigate potential security vulnerabilities for PRISMIC systems.
- Ensuring high standards of software quality control utilizing GitLab.- Supporting project execution by preparing and reviewing technical specifications and providing applications engineering expertise for control system projects.
- Actively participating in cross-functional activities, including customer meetings, quality improvement initiatives, and project reviews.
- A bachelor's degree in software, controls, electrical engineering, or a related field is required.
- Proven experience in Cyber Security implementation within control systems, including risk assessment, safeguarding control systems, encryption, password protection, security protocols, and compliance with IEC/international standards.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret customer and cyber security standards requirements, as well as network topology to develop compliant solutions.- Strong proficiency in C++ programming.
- Experience in C# programming is advantageous.
- Familiarity with software-based microsystems, control, and communication systems, including Modbus, TCP-IP Ethernet, and network communications, along with their redundancy.
- Knowledge of automation and control system cybersecurity standards such as IEC62443.
- Understanding of operating systems such as QNX, Linux, and Windows.
