About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our team at Dorset Clinical Commissioning Group. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality support to our patients and service users.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate programs of care to meet the needs of our patients and service users.
- Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous learning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and deliver training programs, enhancing the skills and knowledge of our staff.
- Utilize electronic patient/service user record systems to analyze data and produce reports, informing service improvements and strategic decisions.
- Travel using your own vehicle on Trust business, adhering to the provisions of the Equality Act.
Requirements
- Registered practitioner (MH nurse, OT, or social worker) to degree/diploma level, supplemented by post-registration diploma-level specialist training and/or short courses or extensive experience in the relevant specialty.
- Membership of the relevant Professional Body.
- Evidence of recent professional development in an up-to-date portfolio.
Desirable Criteria
- Knowledge and understanding of Trust Strategy relevant to the role.
- Recent previous experience within a comparable role.
- Experience at Practitioner Band 5 level.
