Financial Project Manager

Rm Recruit is collaborating with a Staffordshire-based Multi Academy Trust to find an interim Project Accountant to work on various finance process improvement projects. This role will last for several months and will involve supporting the Finance Director at a large trust with 20+ academies.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop a new Purchase Order process that will integrate with Sage Intacct and train individual school teams.
- Collaborate with the Management Accounting team to create automatically populated and comprehensive management reports and KPIs.
- Work with the Data team to create standard dashboards across the Trust to deliver flash reports on individual academies.
- Lead the project to create a consistent financial onboarding process for new schools joining the trust accounting structure.
- Develop and roll out a finance function SharePoint site to provide access to all data and resources for stakeholders.
- Create internal process handbooks that reflect real-time project progress and train the finance function at all seniority levels.
- Lead a team of 4 staff members seconded to various projects.
The successful candidate must be fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/ACMA) or due to achieve qualified status by the end of 2024. They should demonstrate finance project experience in complex business environments and be passionate about finance process improvements.
This role will operate on a hybrid working model.
