We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate individual to join our team as an Autism Practitioner at The Tower School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational and personal development of our students with Autism.
About the Role
As an Autism Practitioner, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff to provide individualized support to students with Autism. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students with Autism in a variety of educational settings, including classrooms and outdoor activities.
- Developing and implementing personalized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
- Providing emotional and physical support to students, promoting their independence and confidence.
- Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective support system.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Level 2 qualification in English and Maths.
- Experience working in schools and special needs education, preferably with students with Autism.
