Job Title: Farm Admin/Vet Tech

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Farm Admin/Vet Tech at Alnorthumbria Vets.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support to our farm practice, as well as assisting with veterinary procedures and animal care. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about animal welfare and wants to make a difference in the rural community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative support to the farm practice, including processing orders, managing paperwork, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with veterinary procedures, such as vaccinations, dis-budding, and WEC testing.
  • Work closely with farmers and small holders to provide a high level of customer service and promote preventative treatments.
  • Contribute to the development of new services and initiatives to grow the practice.
Requirements:
  • Minimum Grade C or equivalent in 3 GCSEs, including English and Maths.
  • Previous experience in a reception or farm animal role.
  • Good IT skills, including experience with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing circumstances.
