Accounts Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our team at Search. As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial accuracy and integrity of our client's accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve company agency fees.
  • Accurately enter fees into the accounting system.
  • Apply receipts to corresponding transactions.
  • Chase overdue fees to ensure timely payments.
  • Manage the collection of marketing fees.
  • Set up new suppliers in the accounting system.
  • Accurately record and code invoices in the accounting system.
  • Process payments to suppliers via the online banking facility.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of expenses to ensure accuracy.
  • Support legal cashroom activities, including reconciling the client bank account.
  • Make necessary payments and ensure they are accurately recorded.
  • Review and verify cash statements for accuracy.
  • Post cash receipts and payments to the client account system.
  • Ensure all financial transactions are compliant with legal requirements.

Requirements:

  • Confidence, organisation, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Capability to prioritise workload using initiative.
  • Experience with accounting systems is desired.
