Exciting Opportunity at a Leading Global Investment Firm

We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Global Compliance team at Goldman Sachs. As a Vice President within the Government Sanctions Group, you will play a key role in ensuring the firm's compliance with international sanctions programs. This position offers the chance to work with a diverse team and make a meaningful impact on the firm's risk management processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of analysts and associates to ensure effective risk management and compliance
  • Coordinate day-to-day screening processes to identify and mitigate potential sanctions risks
  • Provide guidance on sanctions investigations and develop strategies to prevent financial crime
  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify and address sanctions risks and develop policies to prevent financial crime
  • Develop and enhance sanctions-related policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Deliver sanctions training to employees to ensure they understand the importance of compliance and risk management

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as finance, law, or international relations
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage a team and collaborate with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and other financial software to analyze data and identify trends
  • Previous experience in sanctions and financial crime prevention
