Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical SEO Strategist to join our team at ReCulture. As a Technical SEO Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in elevating our clients' Shopify stores to new heights in search engine rankings.

About the Role:

As a Technical SEO Strategist, you will be responsible for conducting thorough technical SEO audits for Shopify websites, pinpointing and resolving issues affecting search engine performance. You will also fine-tune and optimize Shopify store structures, meta tags, schema markup, and other on-page elements to bolster SEO efficacy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical SEO Audits: Conduct thorough technical SEO audits for Shopify websites, identifying and resolving issues affecting search engine performance.
  • Shopify Store Optimization: Fine-tune and optimize Shopify store structures, meta tags, schema markup, and other on-page elements to enhance SEO efficacy.
  • Collaboration with Developers: Close collaboration with Shopify developers to seamlessly integrate technical SEO enhancements while ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze Shopify store performance through SEO tools and Shopify analytics, staying ahead of updates, trends, and algorithm changes to adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Mobile and Desktop Optimization: Optimize Shopify stores across mobile and desktop platforms, with a focus on enhancing page speed and user experience.
  • Content Optimization: Offer strategic insights on content optimization, encompassing product descriptions, collections, and blog content.
  • Keyword Research: Carry out bespoke keyword research tailored to individual clients and industries.
  • Reporting and Insights: Craft insightful reports on SEO performance, spotlighting key metrics and actionable insights.
  • Collaboration with Content Team: Collaborate closely with the content team to embed SEO best practices within product listings and other content.

Requirements:

  • Agency Experience: Ideally, a minimum of 3 years of experience in an agency environment.
  • Technical SEO Tools: Proficiency in utilizing a suite of technical SEO tools including but not limited to Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMRush, and Sistrix.
  • Leadership and Communication: Proven ability and experience in leading the technical SEO aspect of client calls and monthly performance updates.
  • Track Record of Success: Demonstrated track record of delivering organic search success for clients, evidenced by increases in traffic, keyword rankings, conversion rates, and revenue.
