As a THP Performance Lead, you will oversee a dedicated team of Thermal Hydrolysis Process (THP) Technicians, focusing on enhancing their performance and engagement while adhering to established HR policies and procedures. Your leadership will be crucial in maximizing asset availability and performance while maintaining strict quality standards, all within a strong health and safety framework.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Health and Safety Leadership: Cultivating a culture of safety within the team, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is a top priority.
- Process Oversight: Managing the operational compliance of our Sewage Treatment Works, ensuring that plant availability and reliability meet regulatory quality targets.
- Team Performance Management: Driving the team towards optimal operational performance, fostering skill development and health and safety awareness.
- Financial Oversight: Managing the team's budget and financial activities, implementing efficiencies to enhance the overall operational budget.
- Customer and Stakeholder Engagement: Delivering exceptional service to our customers through proactive communication and interventions.
- A seasoned people manager with a successful history of engaging and developing teams, preferably in site-based industrial or municipal environments.
- Proven ability to lead and achieve results in challenging settings, with a solid understanding of health and safety practices.
- Experience in managing operational budgets with a structured and proactive approach.
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in IT systems, including the ability to analyze complex data.
- A valid driving license is essential for this role.
- Relevant qualifications such as an engineering HNC/HND or equivalent are required.
- BOAS and/or WAMITAB qualifications are advantageous, though training will be provided to the right candidate.
- Competitive salary ranging from £39,000 to £45,000 annually, based on experience.
- Annual leave of 26 days, increasing to 30 with tenure, plus bank holidays.
- Contributory pension scheme with a maximum employer contribution of 12%.
- Annual personal medical assessments available to all employees.
