We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Community Staff Nurse. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality care to patients in their homes, managing a range of complex health issues and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
Main DutiesAs a Community Staff Nurse, your key responsibilities will include:
- Providing holistic care to patients in their homes, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Managing complex health issues, including IV medication administration, palliative and end-of-life care, complex wound management, catheter and continence care, diabetes management, PICC line care, medication administration, and drain tube care.
- Developing and implementing care plans, working autonomously and as part of a team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Providing education and support to patients, carers, and families to promote health and well-being.

Person SpecificationWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with:
- Appropriate registration with the Professional body as per post requirements.
- Relevant degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and post-registration training.
- Knowledge of current national policies affecting the NHS and relevant legislation.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
