About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Automation Specialist to join our team at Rentokil Initial. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated processes in Google Cloud to integrate Google APIs and external tools, ensuring seamless integration and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deploy automated processes in Google Cloud, leveraging Python and Google APIs to solve business problems.
  • Administer and utilize CICD tools such as BitBucket Premium to ensure smooth deployment and testing.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to architect and implement cloud-based solutions, ensuring alignment with company standards and security requirements.
  • Act as a technical point of contact for cloud-related issues, working closely with cloud service providers to ensure platform reliability and performance.
  • Maintain enterprise-wide visibility of cloud resources, applications, owners, and technical contacts, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
  • Expertise in automation in the cloud, with a strong understanding of Python and Google APIs.
  • Thorough knowledge of networking and routing concepts, with experience applying them in cloud virtual networks.
  • ServiceNow administration and integration skills, with experience in CICD methodology.
  • Hands-on experience with authentication methods, OAuth, token exchange, and identity federation.
  • Experience with Google Cloud IAM, App Engine Flex and Standard, API Gateway, Cloud Endpoints, Cloud Storage, Dataflow, BigQuery, and Looker.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to produce clear and comprehensive documentation.
