About the RoleLeader Education is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious Science Teacher to join a secondary school in Durham. The ideal candidate will have deep subject expertise and a genuine passion for teaching.
This 11-18 school prides itself on creating a progressive and forward-thinking environment, making this a great location for a Science Teacher to make a significant impact.
The normal working pattern is Monday-Friday 8:30am until 4pm.
Key Responsibilities- Qualified teacher status (QTS) and relevant teaching qualifications.
- A current DBS that is on the update system, or a willingness to obtain one.
- Previous experience as a Science teacher.
- Ability to effectively deliver the curriculum, offering support, advice and guidance to pupils.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Adaptability and initiative to accommodate for various learning type and abilities, striving towards social and academic development.
- High expectations and aspirations for young people and themselves.
