Job Title: Theatre Practitioner

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Theatre Practitioner to join our team at a Private Hospital in Nottingham. This is a full-time role that offers a generous salary of up to £40,000 per annum and a range of excellent benefits.

About the Role:

As a Theatre Practitioner, you will be responsible for assisting in a wide range of specialities, including scrub duties, circulating, and promoting a patient-centred approach to care. You will work closely with healthcare experts to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in scrub duties, including preparing and managing surgical instruments and medications
  • Circulate during surgical procedures, promoting a patient-centred approach to care
  • Work collaboratively with healthcare experts to ensure the highest standards of patient care and safety
  • Organise and control the use of surgical instruments and medications
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to be a Registered General Nurse with valid NMC registration or an ODP with active HCPC pin. You will also require:

  • Proven track record of working within an operation theatre with relevant scrub procedures
  • General scrub and circulating skills across a varied range of patient cases
