Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Operations Director to join our team at Hunter Selection. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of our waste management facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee the overall operations of the facility
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and productivity
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and environmental laws
  • Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve business objectives
  • Develop and implement effective cost control measures
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Collaborate with the commercial team to ensure available capacity is fully utilized
  • Champion a health and safety culture within the department
  • Stay up-to-date with legislative changes and industry developments
Requirements
  • Proven experience in managing a waste processing or incineration site
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement effective cost control measures
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and environmental laws
  • IOSH certification
  • Hazardous Waste COTC certification
