We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Lead Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Health and Justice Services Directorate, you will be responsible for providing mental healthcare services to young people and adults in our care.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mental health nursing and experience of working in a secure environment. You will be responsible for assessing, treating, and consulting with young people and adults with mental health difficulties and learning disabilities. You will also be responsible for developing, implementing, and reviewing short-term therapeutic interventions for referred young people.
We are looking for someone who is passionate about delivering high-quality care and has excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will be working closely with our multidisciplinary team to promote and build the mental development and resilience in vulnerable young people in the YOI.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, treat, and consult with young people and adults with mental health difficulties and learning disabilities
- Develop, implement, and review short-term therapeutic interventions for referred young people
- Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to promote and build the mental development and resilience in vulnerable young people in the YOI
- Provide specialist skills and experience in delivering therapeutic interventions, including managing individuals at risk to themselves or others
- Registered Mental Health Nurse/Registered General Nurse/Children's Nurse or experienced CAMHS specialist Occupational Therapist HCPC registered
- Evidence of personal and professional development
- ENB 998 or equivalent
- Experience in providing and receiving supervision clinics and/or group work
- Practical experience of providing high-quality care and exceeding expectations
- Experience of working within a secure environment/prison
- Experience of SystmOne IT system
