About the Role

The Commercial Administrator will provide administrative support to the commercial and procurement teams, ensuring the smooth operation of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation of enquiry packs and collation of tender information for procurement purposes.
  • Issue Health and Safety Contractor Competency Questionnaires for new contractors and analyze sub-contractor weekly and monthly applications for payment.
  • Prepare interim payments for measured work for approval by Quantity Surveyors and issue contra-charges as appropriate.
  • Process and issue sub-contract orders for approval by Quantity Surveyors and maintain accurate records.
  • Perform general office duties, including accurate collation and storage of information, and various administration tasks for the Commercial & Technical teams.
  • Administer applications from utility companies and NHBC home registrations, and deal with telephone and e-mail enquiries.
Requirements
  • Experience of working in a busy and fast-paced administration role, preferably in the construction industry.
  • GCSE Maths and English (Grade 4/C or above) or equivalent.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook), and the ability to adapt to new systems.
