We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team at Virgin Atlantic Limited. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in conducting effective business analysis services to clarify, define, and evaluate business problems, opportunities, and requirements for change.
You will use your excellent influencing, negotiation, and communication skills to elicit, analyze, and challenge business requirements to ensure that the solutions developed are viable within the operating environment. You will focus on delivering the anticipated benefits using a clear methodology.
You will also lead the analysis of the impacts on people, processes, and systems using industry-recognized services, including process modeling, data/report mapping, and impact analysis.
Key Responsibilities- Build knowledge of assigned business areas and their associated functions, processes, systems, and technologies.
- Clarify and evaluate business problems and opportunities.
- Deliver business analysis services with a clearly documented approach plan that is communicated to your team.
- Provide insight for process improvement through people/system efficiencies using industry-standard process modeling techniques.
- Elicit requirements for change from business stakeholders using a range of techniques.
- Stakeholder management to ensure the requirements are aligned to all their needs.
- Ensure requirements (covering functional, non-functional, data, and reporting) are analyzed, documented, organized, and prioritized in the appropriate format.
- Work closely with Solution Architects to ensure requirements and solution scope remain aligned and focused on delivery of business benefits throughout the project/programme lifecycle.
- Contribute to the identification and assessment of risks which may impact the delivery of change and the ongoing assessment of projected benefits throughout the project lifecycle.
- Assess the impact of the proposed solution on the organization (people, organization, processes, metrics, and systems, etc.) and support business readiness.
We are looking for a highly skilled Business Analyst with a logical, analytical approach and good attention to detail. In addition to the above, we are looking for our successful Business Analyst to demonstrate the following:
- Proven business analysis skills applied within a structured project environment.
- Knowledge of business analysis services, techniques, and templates.
- Excellent communicator with the ability to build strong and effective relationships.
- Experience of working to time, cost, and quality objectives.
- Experience in delivering business analysis services within Prince 2 delivery methodology.
- Ability to work proactively both independently and within a team.
- Experience working with standard tools such as Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Visio.
