About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supply Chain Team Leader to join our team at Liverpool University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for leading a team of supply chain assistants and ensuring the smooth operation of our stores and distribution services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of supply chain assistants to ensure the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage stock control procedures, including off-loading of deliveries and restocking storage areas to agreed levels.
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and suppliers.
  • Monitor and review team activities to ensure they provide a service to the agreed level.
  • Act as a focal point for customers on issues relating to goods delivered to, issued by, and returned from ward/theatre areas.

Person Specification

  • Relevant NVQ 3 Stores Management/Customer Services/CIPS qualification or equivalent.
  • Knowledge and experience of stock control systems.
  • Computer literate with detailed knowledge of basic computer packages, e-Procurement Systems, Email, Excel.
  • Ability to manage a team, work to timetables/deadlines, and up-to-date knowledge of Health and Safety Legislation.
