Job Title: Performance Planning Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Performance Planning Engineer to join our team at Westlakes Recruit. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for planning and coordinating projects to ensure timely completion and successful delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, identifying critical path, resources, and milestones.
  • Participate in interactive planning workshops to ensure comprehensive schedules are developed using best practice and benchmarking data.
  • Ensure all activities are logic linked and aligned with project deliverables, execution plan, and contracting strategy.
  • Identify and explain variances between current schedule, plan, earned value, and forecasts, and communicate these clearly to the project team.
  • Work with the project team to identify resources and man hours required to complete project activities and keep these updated throughout the project.
  • Prepare project reports, trending charts, and schedule analysis on a periodic basis and lead progress communications and update meetings.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of software, especially in Microsoft Excel.
  • Preferrable knowledge in Primavera P6 and ability to learn new software as and when required.
  • Knowledge of project management techniques (i.e. critical path method, progress measurement, and earned value technique).
  • Preferrable experience in project planning, analysis, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Ability to establish priorities and work under pressure to meet project deadlines.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail - solid report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work well with clients and stakeholders, as part of a project team, build and maintain good working relationships with all parties.
