Senior Deal Desk Specialist

Smartsheet is seeking a seasoned Senior Deal Desk Specialist to join their Finance Operations team. This role involves collaborating with various departments to ensure deals are structured and negotiated properly. The position reports to the Senior Deal Desk Manager and can be based remotely.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Sales Teams, providing expert guidance on deal structures and negotiation strategies.
  • Guide deal structures to maximize value, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams, including Sales, Marketing, and Product.
  • Lead deals through the approval process, ensuring timely and efficient resolution.
  • Review and document deal requests, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, maintaining a high level of integrity and transparency.
  • Contribute to process improvement projects, driving efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Deal Desk or Sales Support experience in a SaaS company, with a proven track record of success.
  • Knowledge of sales process, contract management, and revenue recognition, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, with a high level of adaptability and flexibility.
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems, with a strong understanding of data analysis and reporting.
