We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Analyst to join our Customer Data Quality Team at B&Q. As a Data Quality Analyst, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our customer data.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement our data quality strategy and operating framework to align with business objectives.
- Design and build our single version of truth datasets by combining multiple data sources, including defining and managing customer entities.
- Identify and mitigate potential data quality issues at all stages of the data lifecycle.
- Monitor and measure data quality performance using tools and processes to ensure data quality is of the highest standard.
- Collaborate with Tech and Kingfisher to deliver our data quality framework and roadmap, ensuring data in the data lake is accessible to stakeholders.
- Engage with the wider data community across the group, contributing to the growth of new channels, services, and digital initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with other languages such as Python or R.
- Strong understanding of data governance and good data quality practices, with experience implementing these.
- Experience with quality assurance, coding documentation, and version control best practices.
- Curious and analytical mindset, with a commercial lens to maximize the value of data.
