About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HSE Manager to join our Construction team at JCA Engineering. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety, health, and environmental well-being of our sites and employees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Collaborate with senior project management team members to provide HSE statistics, identify areas for improvement, and implement actions to address these areas.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of site-specific plans, statutory and project-specific registers, and JCA LOLER & PUWER inspection reports.
  • Facilitate risk assessments, including manual handling, fire risk assessments, and COSHH.
  • Ensure the implementation and adherence to JCA's Safe System of Work on sites.

Requirements:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate
  • CSCS Card
  • Thorough knowledge of health, safety, and quality assurance principles and practices
