Job Summary:
The Recruitment Co is seeking a skilled Warehouse Operative to join their client's team in Forfar. As a key member of the warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the warehouse, maintaining a high level of productivity and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manual handling of goods, including heavy lifting and moving stock to designated storage areas
- Loading and unloading delivery vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods
- Cleaning and maintaining the warehouse, adhering to health and safety protocols
- Operating forklift equipment, following safety guidelines and procedures
- Monitoring and maintaining accurate records of stock levels and warehouse management systems
Requirements:
- A valid forklift license is highly desirable
- Excellent timekeeping and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
- Flexible and enthusiastic approach to work, with a strong commitment to teamwork
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and management
- Ability to use own initiative and work independently, with a strong focus on quality and attention to detail
