Orchard Timber Products, part of National Timber Group are looking to recruit a permanent Showroom Sales Designer to join their busy, well-established branch in Forfar.
Orchard Timber Products is an independent timber & specialist product merchant with a credible brand reputation and we pride ourselves in looking after our people in the same way we excel with our customers. We refurbished our Kitchen/Bathroom/Bedroom showroom last year and are currently recruiting for a Showroom Sales Designer. **You will be responsible for**:
**Kitchen/Bathroom/Bedroom Customer Sales**:
- Dealing with inbound telephone enquiries
- Serving showroom customers face to face
- Pro-active telephone calls to existing and new customers
- Ownership of an assigned set of customers for maintenance and development
- Ability to be pro-active in securing new business from existing and new customers
- Pro-active approach to introducing new products to existing and new customers
- Pro-active approach to promoting special offers to existing and new customers
- Ability to increase add-on & alternative product sales
**Suppliers**:
- Professional approach dealing with suppliers
- Strengthening supplier relationships
- Always looking for new product opportunities
- Working closely with operations team for supply and delivery to your customers
**You can offer us**:
- Experience selling kitchens/bathrooms/bedrooms
- Experience using design software
- Fantastic can-do attitude
- Willingness to learn and use own initiative to develop
- Driven & enthusiastic - Being the salesperson our customers love to deal with
- Excellent communication skills & telephone manner
- Good numeracy skills
- Good with detail and accuracy

**Working hours, Benefits and Salary**:
- Full time position, Monday to Friday 45 hours per week
- Competitive salary commensurate with relevant skills and experience
