We are seeking a highly skilled Audit and Accounts Senior to join our client's team. As a key member of the accounting department, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and guidance to clients on accounting and taxation matters.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audit and accounts, with experience in planning, audit testing, and file preparation. You will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to lead audit teams and junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with client meetings and provide expert advice on accounting and taxation matters.
- Onboard new clients, register them with HMRC, and advise on accounting requirements.
- Take responsibility for key aspects of audit assignments, including planning, audit testing, and file preparation.
- Lead audit teams and junior staff, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare larger year-end accounts assignments, corporation tax computations, and management accounts.
- Review VAT returns and bookkeeping, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
