Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HGV Class 1 driver to join our team at Veolia. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for collecting and transporting waste from various commercial sites across the UK.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collecting and transporting ADR/Non-dangerous waste from commercial sites
  • Operating rigid box and curtainsider vehicles with tail lifts
  • Ensuring accurate daily and weekly records of completed work, vehicle checks, fuel receipts, and weighbridge tickets
  • Complying with all traffic laws and legislation related to duties, including load security and weight
Requirements
  • Valid Cat C+E (Class 1) driving license
  • Up-to-date CPC and Digi/Tachograph card
  • ADR certification
What We Offer
  • Competitive hourly rate of £16.09
  • Guaranteed 50 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible start times between 5am and 6am
  • Minimum weekly earnings of £804.50 and minimum annual earnings of £41,834
  • Nights out paid at £39.31, with parking paid separately on expenses
