Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at The Recruiting Co. Our client, a family-run business based in the Midlands, is looking for a reliable and safety-conscious driver to transport goods to designated destinations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely and punctually transport goods to designated destinations
  • Complete 2-3 drops per day plus collections
  • Utilize ratchet straps and internal straps for securing loads
  • Operate curtain side vehicles, including opening curtains for unloading
  • Provide excellent customer service and support

Requirements:

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) driving licence
  • Minimum 2 years on the licence and one year's driving experience
  • Experience with ratchet straps and internal straps
  • Ability to operate curtain side vehicles
  • Strong commitment to safety protocols
  • Excellent communication skills

What We Offer:

  • A competitive hourly rate of £18.00 per hour Monday to Friday (Days) and £19.00 per hour Monday to Friday (Nights)
