We are seeking a Cloud Security Engineer for a rapidly expanding organization specializing in cryptocurrency markets, merging extensive expertise with advanced quantitative trading methodologies.

The Opportunity

This position provides an opportunity to develop a robust and scalable infrastructure that supports our innovative Web3 trading applications.

As the DevSecOps lead, you will be responsible for ensuring the high availability, performance, and security of our real-time dashboards, trading interfaces, and data visualization tools, facilitating seamless user experiences at the cutting edge of the industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Security Monitoring:

You will oversee system activities and logs to detect any unusual behavior that may signal a security threat.


Cloud Security Implementation:

Collaborate with the engineering team to guarantee that our cloud environments are securely configured and adhere to industry best practices.


Secure Software Development Contribution:

Work alongside engineers to establish secure methodologies for building and updating our software, thereby minimizing the risk of vulnerabilities.


Security Awareness Promotion:
Foster a culture of security within the team by sharing knowledge and best practices.
Stay Informed on Security Trends: Keep abreast of the latest security threats and emerging trends to ensure the application of the most effective security measures.

Qualifications:

Strong IT Foundation:
A solid grasp of fundamental IT concepts, including Linux and basic networking, is crucial.

Cloud Experience Preferred:
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is advantageous, but not mandatory. We are open to training the right candidate who possesses a passion for security.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical abilities are essential for identifying and resolving potential security issues.
