Job Description

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Claims Manager to join our team at Thistle Insurance Services. As a Claims Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing the Claims Department to deliver a high-quality Claims experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Claims Leadership: Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Claims team to ensure they are equipped to handle complex Claims effectively.
  • Claims Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in the Claims process and implement changes to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Stakeholder Management: Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal stakeholders, including underwriters, brokers, and other departments.
  • Claims Performance Management: Monitor and analyze Claims performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Development: Provide coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure the Claims team has the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure that all Claims activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory requirements and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Claims Management role, preferably in the insurance industry.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and management skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, finance, or risk management.
