Senior Claims Handler

Ecclesiastical Insurance Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Claims Handler to join our Gloucester office. As a key member of our Claims team, you will be responsible for managing a varied caseload of property claims, ensuring exceptional customer service and maintaining our high standards of quality and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a personal caseload of property claims up to £75,000 in value, maintaining our high standards of quality and customer service.
- Proactively handle all allocated claims, effectively communicating with internal and external stakeholders, including end customers, brokers, and service suppliers.
- Monitor and develop personal knowledge and skills through continued professional development, supported by our Claims Faculty and at-desk coaching.
- Demonstrate a clear appreciation of the need for exceptional customer service.
- Previous property claims handling experience is desirable.
- Cert CII qualified.
- Strong negotiation skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to assimilate and comprehend information.
- Track record of delivering excellence.
- Ability to handle high call volumes effectively.
- Good attention to detail.
- Energy, focus, and an interest in personal development.
- Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize workloads accordingly.
- Willingness to take full ownership of each individual claim.
