Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Workshop Operations Manager to join our team at Listers. As a key member of our Service Department, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum productivity and efficiency in the workshop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Meet and greet customers, providing a seamless service experience from drop off to vehicle handover.
    • Keep customers informed of progress on their vehicle.
  • Workflow Management
    • Liaise with the Service Advisors and Technicians to ensure all required work is actioned effectively and efficiently.
    • Manage the workflow of all jobs to brand standard.
  • Team Leadership
    • Manage a team of Technicians, ensuring workflow through the workshop is done in an efficient and effective manner.
    • Provide focused management to the Service Department team, ensuring an excellent customer experience.
  • Process Management
    • Ensure processes are always adhered to.
    • Conduct regular process reviews with the Aftersales Manager to identify operational issues and discrepancies.
  • Performance Management
    • Manage the performance of the workshop to ensure KPI targets are achieved.
    • Manage and plan workshop resources to ensure work requirements are fulfilled.
Requirements
  • This role would suit someone with previous experience in a dealership, ideally as a Trainee Workshop Controller, Experienced Workshop Foreman, or Experienced Workshop Controller.
