About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team in Coventry. As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting children with complex needs on a 1:1 or small group basis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children with complex needs in a SEN setting
  • Liaise with external agencies and internal school staff to ensure effective support
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement individualized education plans
  • Provide emotional and social support to children with complex needs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience working in an SEN setting
  • Confidence, patience, and a friendly demeanor
  • Ability to work with children with ASD, ADHD, non-verbal, and challenging behaviors
  • Qualifications in childcare or a related field (desirable)
