Our client is in search of an Azure Operations Engineer to play a pivotal role within their Business Systems division. In this capacity, you will be tasked with the daily management and administration of their Azure cloud infrastructure, while also recommending and supporting enhancement initiatives to ensure seamless operation of their cloud environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and sustain Azure cloud infrastructure to guarantee optimal performance and dependability.
- Collaborate with external partners to implement cloud-based solutions that align with organizational requirements.
- Monitor, diagnose, and resolve issues within the Azure environment.
- Advise on and support enhancement projects aimed at optimizing cloud infrastructure.
- Oversee helpdesk service level agreements (SLA) to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
- Stay informed about the latest cloud technologies to maintain current infrastructure.
- Provide training and development opportunities for the team to improve their knowledge of Azure and cloud management.
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- Microsoft AZ-900 Azure Fundamentals certification.
- Strong understanding of Azure cloud technologies and systems.
- 1-2 years of experience in managing and administering cloud-based networks.
- Hands-on experience with SharePoint, Teams, and OneDrive administration and troubleshooting.
- Experience with VM configuration and deployment within Azure.
- Proficiency in managing organizational file storage using Azure Files.
Desirable Skills:
- Familiarity with advanced Microsoft Azure cloud services.
- Experience with ITIL implementation.
- Experience with Intune laptop deployment.
- Physical network management experience.
- Line management or team leadership experience.
The Ideal Candidate:
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently.
- Proactive and eager to learn and grow in the field of cloud management.
- Well-presented with excellent communication skills.
- Demonstrates strong customer service and a professional telephone manner.
