About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in creating a stimulating and engaging environment for our residents, promoting their physical and emotional well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and implement a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts, crafts, music, and exercise programs.
  • Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and activities that promote social interaction and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, their families, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of satisfaction and engagement.
  • Work closely with the care team to identify and address the needs of residents, ensuring that their care plans are met and exceeded.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures that promote a culture of kindness and respect within the care home.
Requirements
  • Experience working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or social care setting.
  • Ability to develop and implement activity programs that cater to diverse needs and interests.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to working hours and duties.
