About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Chartwells - Schools. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in preparing delicious, high-quality food for our clients and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food to a high standard, ensuring it meets our quality and safety standards.
  • Maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of deliveries and supply vehicles.
  • Represent Chartwells - Schools and maintain a positive brand image.
  • Comply with Food Handling & Hygiene standards and Health & Safety regulations.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate an ability to manage pressure, prioritise tasks, and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Be an excellent team player, with a committed and organised approach.
  • Have a desire to succeed in your role and be flexible to work shifts.
  • Demonstrate exceptional timekeeping and reliability.
