Advocate Navigator for Sexual Assault and Abuse

Job Title: Sexual Assault and Abuse Advocate Navigator
Position Type: 1 full-time position (37 hours)
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate advocate to support victims of sexual assault and abuse, with a focus on those presenting with complex mental health needs. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the challenges faced by victims of abuse and the importance of providing tailored support and advocacy to ensure they receive the right help and support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized support and advocacy to victims of sexual assault and abuse, including those with complex mental health needs.
- Work closely with the Black Country Rape and Sexual Violence Service team to ensure seamless support and advocacy for victims.
- Develop and maintain relationships with local agencies and services to ensure victims receive comprehensive support.
- Contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of support and advocacy for victims.
Requirements:
- Experience in advocacy and support work with victims of abuse and/or complex mental health needs.
- Strong understanding of the challenges faced by victims of abuse and the importance of providing tailored support and advocacy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
