Nuclear Medicine Physicist Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Medicine Physicist to join our team at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Nuclear Medicine department, you will play a vital role in supporting our services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the scientific support of our Nuclear Medicine department, including imaging, in-vitro services, PET/CT, and SPECT/CT.
  2. Participate in our QA program to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety.
  3. Assist in the maintenance and development of instrumentation, procedures, and computing facilities.
  4. Advise and assist clinicians in setting up diagnostic tests and new protocols.
  5. Participate in capital equipment evaluation and commissioning, and assist in the choice and deployment of equipment and materials.
  6. Modify image processing software to meet specific clinical needs.
  7. Provide cover for the Hot Lab manager in carrying out calibration procedures.
  8. Check and sign-off calculations for in-vitro studies after suitable training.
