Job Summary:

Protocol Education is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Worker to provide crucial support to children with diverse needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), complex learning disabilities, and those with Education, Health, and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide mental health support to children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs in schools.
  • Work with children with ASC, complex learning disabilities, and EHCPs.
  • Collaborate with a supportive local authority dedicated to tailored support for each child.
  • Inspire and motivate students to achieve their best, regardless of their needs.
  • Foster a positive learning atmosphere using effective behaviour management techniques.
  • Assist students in their personal and academic development.
