Job Summary:
Daniel Owen Ltd is seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to join our team as part of a local authority contract based in Gateshead. As a key member of our street furniture team, you will be responsible for welding handrails and other metal components.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welding and fabricating metal components for street furniture
- Working collaboratively with the street furniture team to meet project deadlines
- Maintaining a high level of quality and attention to detail in all work
- Ensuring compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations
- Providing excellent customer service and communication with colleagues and clients
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Welder/Fabricator in a similar role
- Valid CSCS card and any relevant industry certifications
- Valid driving license and access to a vehicle
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
