Transfer Eligibility:

Provisional Eligibility:
In the absence of a valid eligible list, candidates may qualify for provisional appointment based on defined criteria.

Promotion Criteria:
The minimum requirement is one year of permanent service as a Psychologist 1.

Open Competitive Criteria:
Applicants must possess a master's degree in psychology from an accredited institution. The degree program should adequately prepare graduates for roles in clinical, forensic, or community mental health environments.
  • Must have completed a degree that included a clinical psychology practicum, externship, or clinical fieldwork.
  • Two years of supervised post-master's degree psychology experience are required.
- *Substitutions for post-master's degree experience may be considered.

Important Note:
Qualifying experience should encompass administering assessments, conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing behavior support plans, counseling, and treatment.
  • Experience should span various domains such as mental disorders, cognitive disorders, behavioral disorders, addiction, and forensic mental health.
  • Degrees in education, counseling, hypnosis, human relations, and similar fields are not qualifying.

It is crucial to ensure that you are not listed as an excluded individual on Medicaid or Medicare lists to qualify for this position.
