Regional Operations Manager | Elderly Care

Compass Associates is seeking an ambitious Regional Operations Manager to oversee a successful remit of care homes in the North East, England.

About the Role

The Regional Operations Manager will be responsible for driving performance around delivery of quality care, governance, staffing, recruitment, occupancy, and promoting excellence across the care homes within the remit.

The ideal candidate will have expert CQC knowledge, the confidence to manage a team of Registered Managers, and the ability to mentor and guide Home Managers to drive KPIs and deliver high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive performance around delivery of quality care, governance, staffing, recruitment, occupancy, and promoting excellence
  • Recognise indicators of poor performance and act quickly to remedy them
  • Work systematically with Registered Managers to develop and deliver each Care Home's business plan
  • Ensure compliance with CQC regulations
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Registered Managers and Home Managers
Requirements
  • Experience working as a Multi-site or Regional Operations Manager within the social care sector
  • RMA level 4 / NVQ level 5 Management
  • Good relationship management skills
  • Exposure to and compliant with CQC
  • Passion for the care of elderly people
