Position Overview

Job Title: Sprayer Operator

Company: UNITUS Recruitment Ltd

Our client is a prominent agricultural and contracting enterprise, focusing on crop protection, avadex application, and hay/straw baling. They are currently in search of a dedicated full-time staff member to operate a state-of-the-art self-propelled sprayer equipped with advanced GPS and section control technology.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves:

  • Executing spraying operations on a diverse range of crops within a designated area.
  • Collaborating closely with farmers and agronomists to ensure optimal application of agricultural chemicals.
  • Maintaining accurate records and documentation related to spraying activities.
  • Exercising initiative and independent decision-making in the field.
  • Working extended hours during peak agricultural seasons.
  • Performing routine servicing and maintenance of the sprayer to uphold high operational standards.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience and knowledge in the application of agricultural chemicals.
  • PA1 and PA2 certification.
  • A valid full driving license.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful applicant will receive a competitive remuneration package commensurate with their experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Starting from £18.00 per hour

Work Schedule
