Job Title: Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking a highly skilled Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our client's team in Rotherham. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of complex machinery and equipment.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment. You will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks, investigating and resolving technical issues, and working closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth production operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues related to machinery and equipment
  • Work closely with the engineering team to ensure smooth production operations
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify and implement process improvements
  • Train and mentor junior engineers and technicians
Requirements:
  • Level 3 or above in a multi-skilled engineering discipline (mechanical bias or electrical bias)
  • Time served apprenticeship in engineering
  • Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics
  • Good knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, pneumatics, and mechanical systems
