About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled professional to join our Senior Leadership Team as the Head of Asset Management and Safety. This is a critical role that will play a key part in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing team responsible for the management of assets and safety across the West Midlands CMO contract.
  • Develop and implement industry-leading policies and procedures to ensure safe and productive delivery of work.
  • Act as the business lead for all health and safety matters, identifying and responding to current legal and best practice requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with key HSE legislation, including CDM, Temporary Works, and HSWA.
  • Set the strategic direction for effective health and safety management and workplace wellbeing programmes.
  • Work proactively with the Senior Leadership Team, clients, and stakeholders to maintain a programme of continuous improvement in health, safety, and wellbeing.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH national diploma level 6 or equivalent degree.
  • NRSWA.
  • EUSR Safety Health and Environmental Awareness (SHEA) Gas.
  • Understanding of Cadent operating systems and management procedures.
  • Experience in managing/coaching operational site teams.
  • Experience in conducting audits with internal/external stakeholders within a formal risk-based framework.
